Medical Doctor becomes Beauty Queen in Akwa Ibom State, Ekemini Umoren has been crowned the Ndoko Akwa Ibom (Miss Akwa Ibom) 2017.

She represented Oruk Anam Local Government Area and beat 30 other contestants to win a brand new MG 2017 car to become the new face of Akwa Ibom also won the award for ‘Best Behaved’ contestant after the week-long stay in camp with various activities that engaged them.

WINNER - Ekemini Umoren
Perfect Emerson, representing Mbo Local Government Area was the 2nd runner up and got N500,000 while Ndifreke Etim who represented Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area was the first runner up with a cash prize of N1,000,000.
Ekemini in previous years has participated in other pageants which include Miss Nigeria, Face of Niger Delta.
