See Who Akwa United Will Battle in Ahlan Tourney final

Akwa United will battle Kano Pillars in tomorrow’s Ahlan Pre-Season Tournament in Kano after they defeated El Kanemi 2-1 today.

Kano Pillars trounced Katsina United 4-1 in the first semi-final yesterday.

Akwa United took the lead against El Kanemi after 10 minutes from the penalty spot through Dennis Nya after the opposing goalkeeper Modu Jobe fouled inside the box.

El Kanemi drew in the 68th minute, when Sulieman Mohammed rose highest to head past goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo.

Yene Tentoh fored the winner for Aiteo Cup winners Akwa United six minutes from full time.

In stoppage time Ajibola Otegbeye was sent off for dissent.
