News: AKEM President meets With Akwa Ibom State Government

According  to reports reaching us, earlier on today 10th February 2020; The AkwaCross Entertaining Musicians  AKEM had a brief meeting with the Sspecial  Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Entertainment Mr David Seargent AKA Utang Akwa ibom to further affirm thier strong determination in piloting the affairs of the music industry in the region, especially in the areas of team work,  inclusion and discipline. 

Akem reiterated its pledge to support the State Government via the office of the SA to the Governor on entertainment in his existing efforts in building a better entertainment industry in the state. 

 While speaking the Vice-president of AKEM; Comrade Alexander Ukpe Inyang AKA Uncle Eddy commended the SA for granting audience to AKEM despite his busy schedule. 

The AKEM President, Feelings Mbu assured the SA that AKEM isn't here to obstruct or bring discrimination into the music industry but rather to bring about a more unified and cordinated music industry for the music business to thrive vis-a-vis talent hunting.

 The president added that AKEM is here to bolster unity and to ensure that Akwa Ibom music industry/musicians have a valid data base. In response, the SA to The Governor on entertainment Mr David Seargent AKA Utang Akwa Ibom commended the determination of AKEM and promised full support to the group especially when it has to do with immediate Growth.
