COVID19: We are staying for the rest of the year”.Reactions as NCDC drop new 86 cases, 70 in Lagos

At about 12:00 Today, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control as usual took to their Twitter account to confirm new Eighty six new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria with saw Lagos records new 56 cases.

They took to their Twitter verified handle I which they tweeted

Eighty-six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;

70 in Lagos

7 in FCT

3 in Katsina

3 in Akwa Ibom

1 in Jigawa

1 in Bauchi

1 in Borno

As at 11:50 pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Discharged: 170

Deaths: 21

With the increasing numbers every day especjal with that of Lagos, this has made Nigerians wonder if their is actually a lockdown in the state with some saying the extension might be extended or we stay home for the rest of the year.

Some reactions below

Lagos isn’t on lockdown, people are still moving freely. Public vehicles are very much commuting people from one end to the other, talk more of private. At least, my neighbor’s friends came here to drink with him today, this 70 in Lagos is just rehearsals. Kasa kasa shi n bo😢😢
