After 351 days, the Premier League 2019/2020 season ended with Manchester United and Chelsea picking up the final two Champions League spots, finishing third and fourth respectively with same number of points (66) but with the latter finishing ahead with goal difference of +30 as against Chelsea's +15.

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham side drew 1-1 away at Palace, finishing 6th and earning a chance to play in the Europa League qualification series.

Bournemouth and Watford joined Norwich City in the relegation zone and will now drop to the Championship for next season. Aston Villa's 1-1 draw at the London Stadium against West Ham saw them escape relegation, beating Bournemouth to it despite their 3-1 victory away at Everton.

Also up for grabs on the final day was the golden boot award. Aubameyang ended the season on 22 goals, scoring twice in Manchester City's 5-0 riot over Norwich City but still couldn't beat Leicester's Jamie Vardy on 23 goals though fired blank for Leicester on the day.

Jamie Vardy has now become the oldest player to win the premier league golden boot at the age of 33 years and 198 days old.
