Famous People In The World Who Got Away With Murder and Other Major Crimes - ibomreports

Where there are celebrities there are also crimes. From Drugs or alcohol abuse to killing crimes. Even the greatest and most talented celebrities in the world has sometime succumbed to these vices, which inhibit their permission to go on with their career and drain them financially. Well, lots of them accused or not have been able to get away with some of these crimes particularly ones that involved taking the life of another person due to their very deep pockets and the superlative attorneys with excellent law skills able to shield these stars from very long prison sentences and supposed life penalties. Here are some of those kind of celebrities who were lucky enough to get away with murder.



In the last two weeks, the Nigerian social media space has been tense with news of the deaths of a couple close friends of award winning pop star, Davido and last night, he released CCTV videos and an official statement from his lawyers that seemingly exonorates him.


Truth be told, its been a very emotional period for the singer and the very many unconfirmed reports and insinuations flying around on social media has not helped either. A former promoter of boxing legends like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, was charged twice with second degree murder. In 1954, a haired psychopath, according to reports, shot his first victim Hillary Brown in the back, but got off on Self-defense. 13 years later in 1967, He was charged with second-degree murder for beating his employee Sam Garrett to death over a $600 debt. However he served less than three years in Jail and Now just chills at home and he's worth over 300 million dollars.

American singer songwriter reportedly killed a 38-year old mother of two, Awatef Aboudihaj, in a 2006 horrific car accident. According to reports, She wasn’t paying attention to the road and crashed into the car in front of her, instantly killing the driver. Later on, the Singer settled the case with an undisclosed amount of money to the victim’s family, and was released from all charges, as no drugs or alcohol were involved.

Witnesses him jump over a fence, assault a neighbor, and return to the Davis house. Though he had history of drug use, an autopsy report showed that Lewis had no drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of his death. It is believed that Lewis either fell or jumped from the roof, garage, or patio of Davis’ villa while trying to jump.

Back in 1985, Mötley Crüe front man Vince Neil only served 20 days for killing a fellow musician in a tragic DUI car crash.


The accident, which occurred during a drunken beer run after a concert in Hollywood, killed Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley, and left two other passengers seriously injured. Neil, who was driving with 1.7 BAC at the time, was left unscathed, but was charged $2.6 million in restitution fees and 200 hours of community service.

After their meal, they walked several blocks back to their car, when Blake suddenly realized he left his handgun back at the restaurant. He walked back to the restaurant while Bonnie waited in the car. According to Blake, he returned to find Bonnie shot dead in the head.


Blake's attorney, Thomas Mesereau, who is infamously known for defending Michael Jackson in his 1995 child molestation trial, got Blake off scot-free.

Former Noxzema girl and actress Rebecca Gayheart ran over a 9 year old boy Jorge Cruz Jr. with her car in June of 2001. Jorge died the next day from severe head injuries. As a result of the incident, Gayheart's received a misdemeanor, had her license suspended for a year, and was sentenced to 3 years probation, 750 hours of community service and a $2,800 fine.

In 1951, the legendary Beat Generation junkie and author of Unclad Lunch, shot his wife in a game of William Tell while drunk in Mexico. Instead of placing an apple on her head, he used a tumbler glass and accidentally shot her in the skull. Burroughs was held in custody for murder for a few weeks before his wealthy family bailed him out and bribed his way out of it.

While on his vacation in Ireland in 1987, Matthew Broderick and his then girlfriend Jennifer Grey accidentally veered their rented BMW into oncoming traffic and crashed into another car head-on, killing its driver and passenger. Matthew was charge $175 for careless driving.

Oscar Pistorius is a South African sprinter known for his amazing speed using prosthetics due to a double amputation when he was 11 months old. On September 12, 2014 Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide and one firearm-related charge of reckless endangerment related to discharging a firearm in a restaurant. On 21 October 2014, Pistorius received a prison sentence of a maximum of five years for culpable homicide and a concurrent three-year suspended prison sentence for the separate reckless endangerment conviction. His release date to house arrest was announced for August 21, 2015 based on good behavior and the fact that he is not regarded a danger to the community. But Pistorius will remain under house arrest and correctional supervision, and may be required to perform community service as part of his continuing sentence. Also, Pistorius will not be allowed to go back to official athletic competition until the whole five years of his sentence is complete despite his release.
