Panic and tears In Juventus As Defender, Rugani is Tested Positive To Coronavirus

Daniel Rugani, a defender with Italian football giants, Juventus, has tested positive to the deadly coronavirus, recently declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).

 Serie A club’s defender was confirmed to have contracted the virus a day after the owner of Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos, Evangelos Marinakis was said to have contracted the deadly virus and is now receiving treatment.

The Italian football club confirmed Rugani’s status in a statement released in the late hours of Wednesday, March 11.
“The footballer Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Coronavirus-COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic,” Juventus said in the statement.
“Juventus Football Club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required by law, including the census of those who have had contact with him,” the statement added.
